A few days ago Solitude Mountain Resort held it’s annual Cardboard Derby and it was awesome!
I have been a mountain host at Solitude this season and have experienced a lot of really fun events. The Cardboard Derby was no exception. This winter was short on snow and spring warmth came early so the ski season is ending at Solitude very soon. But – Solitude managed to put things together and hold this fabulous event. Contestants and onlookers absolutely loved it!
This Old Hiking Dude, who turns into an old skiing dude in winter, had a great time! I got some fun video and images, including myself with some of the contestants!
This was so much fun to watch I think I might just be an entry next year!
