My Utah Hiking Highlights (so far)

I moved from Texas to the Salt Lake Valley in the summer of 2022. I really had not hiked much prior to this except when I was a kid and I am thrilled with some of the ground I have covered here! So here are a few highlights. Click any image to enlarge it!

Above are images from my hike up Mt. Nebo. I hiked up Nebo, the highest point in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, back in September, 2025. This was a challenging, but very rewarding hike! Click for my story about hiking Mt. Nebo.

Above is Stewart Falls, near Sundance Ski Resort. I have done this one from several different directions and it has never disappointed! Click for my Stewart Falls hike.

Hiking Donut Falls is amazing in the winter and in the summer!

Hiking to Catherine Pass and above is amazing! Catherine Pass can be gotten to from either Brighton or Alta ski resorts and I love being there for the sunrise!

Fall colors in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah can be absolutely amazing. They were on this day in late September of this year! The above photos are from my hike to Silver Lake, which is near Solitude Mountain Resort.

I hiked to Gloria Falls with a friend in December, 2025 when it was almost totally frozen – and it was fabulous!

I have taken many other hikes in Utah over the last four summers and will do many more. So please subscribe to see more!
